Historical background about the Deanship

The library took its temporary headquarters in 1385 AH in an apartment in Prince Mansour bin Abdulaziz Building at the end of Qabil Street, which intersects with King Abdulaziz Street. On 4/7/1387 AH, the central library was officially opened in the first building of the College of Economics and Administration, and its area was 50 square meters, where it contained 10228 volumes, of which about 5,000 thousand volumes, which some of the dignitaries in the city of Jeddah offered to the university.
